ORGANIZATION OF INTERNET AND WEB DESIGN COURSES FOR STUDENTS DISPLACED FROM AGDAM, JABRAIL AND FIZULI DISTRICTS AND CREATION WEB-SITES ABOUT THEIR REGIONS WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF THESE COURSES GRADUATES

Background
It is well know that as the result of Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict over Nagorno Karabakh Azerbaijan faced with various social problems of refugees and IDPs. One of these problems is the problem of education including the studying of modern information technologies. The organization of AKTAM has carried out a numbers of projects on education problems (especially in the field of information technologies and English) of refugees and IDPs since 1997. During these projects AKTAM has experienced that modern Internet technologies creation of WEB pages are high priority for young and mainly students of refugees and IDPs.

Motive of the project
The project is aimed at organizing courses on the basic Internet skills and WEB design for the students displaced from Aghdam, Jabrail and Fizuli, as well as, the creation WEB sites on the above regions by the graduates from these courses in Azeri, English and Russian.

The addressed group of people by project and their residence
It is intended that group of former students graduated other computer courses of AKTAM and displaced from Agdam, Jabrail and Fizuli. They reside compactly at the Student Campus of Yasamal district.

Aim of project and the expected results
The main aims are as follows:
- to increase the displaced students' knowledge on modern Internet technology;
- to expand information resources in Azeri on Internet WEB-site;
- to spread an objective information regarding about Azerbaijan for the world community.
The results are to be the acquire of knowledge on Internet and Web design by the 20 course participants and creation WEB sites about the 3 occupied regions.

Continuation of the project
Participants of the course can apply their knowledge in any field of Internet technologies. Besides, they can constantly develop creation Web sites by adding new information and using their knowledge. All these opportunities will be provided by AKTAM. AKTAM holds negotiations with local and international organizations with the purpose of creation Web sites about the other territories (like Zangilan, Gubadli, Lachin, Kelbajar, Shusha, Khojaly). The students displaced from occupied territories will participate in creation of these sites, too.
